I went through a piece of writing where the author is describing different social experiences of being a skinny woman. Of course, these are ugly. For me, though things are not getting that worse, but I too encounter with some unnecessary blames (that in the name of maintaining a slim body, I do not eat properly), or worries about my health. But this is not very difficult to find out that my sexual appeal is the only thing cooking in the 90% of them or jealousy of my female friends.
But hei world, my body is nothing to do with my fitness. And I am as happy with it as I was when I used to have weight. If I found myself cuter in those days, now I feel lighter and more energetic.
Please stop judging a woman's health or sex appeal from her outer appearance. She has not come to this world just to satisfy your eyes. And everybody can not own a typical Durga, Laxmi, Saraswati like body who are plumpy but proportionate.
We live in a country, where if you exceed in weight, people will start to call you 'Hidimba' , or 'hippo' and if you maintain lower of that standard, you are ultra-modern chick or you lack sex appeal blah blah blah....
So, we often get to see girls stop eating and falling down or some others who take artificial medicines just to look plumpy and get married ( have seen in a recent commercial).
Will a time come when women shall not be judged only on her appearance? Will a time come when we will learn to ignore those taboos and be comfortable with our own bodies?

Definitely the day will come, if people start thinking like ur way..
